We're flashing back to that one time when Post Malone caused a craze when he rolled up on Twin Peaks off Sunland Park.

It was the summer of 2018, and Post Malone had just dropped his second studio album Beerbongs and Bentley's, and everyone wanted a piece of the face-tattooed rapper.

At the time, Malone's hit single "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage was so hot that it reached number one on Billboards Hot 100 and gained a nomination for Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

As the infectious tune catapulted Malone into a true Rockstar overnight, his celebrity sighting at El Paso's westside Twin Peaks was just a sneak peek into his future fame.

On Sunday, June 17, 2018, Post Malone and his team stopped at Twin Peaks off Sunland Park for a bite and a few drinks. However, it wasn't long before patrons began to recognize him, thanks to his unmistakable face tattoos.
As El Pasoans began to approach him for a selfie or an autograph, word spread quickly via social media, and soon other fans descended on Twin Peaks to get a chance to meet the Texas native. El Paso police were even called on to the scene because there were reports of what people thought was a fight. But once police showed up, they realized it wasn't a fight but fans going crazy over Post Malone.

Stories shared from that day even includes Posty having shots with fans and signing everything, ranging from décolletages to guns.

It turns out that Post Malone has an affinity for certain establishments, and Twin Peaks is one of them. Malone is known to support and share his love for eateries such as Olive Garden, Chik-Fil-A, Popeye's, and even Panda Express, to name a few.

Later that summer Post Malone's debut album Stoney (2016) broke Michael Jackson's 34-year-old record for most weeks on Billboard's Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums chart and has continued to win fans over, not just with his music but with his entrepreneurial and acting ambitions.

Since his drop-in at Twin Peaks on that Sunday afternoon, Malone has gone on to release more than music. Posty's entrepreneurial spirit has led him to create the wine label Maison No. 9, collaborate with Crocs, a sunglass line, a film production company, and accrued even more music accolades, making him one of the biggest superstars on the planet today.

Although Post Malone has never performed in El Paso, we can only hope he makes his way back to town one day, but until then, we'll always have Twin Peaks.

Post Malone's new third studio album, Twelve Carrot Toothache, will be available later this year.
