Texas EquuSearch made a surprising announcement earlier this month. They believe that they have found the remains of a woman who went missing 25 years ago.

At a press conference, Texas EquuSearch along with Beaumont Police confirmed that they found the remains of Kimberly Langwell.

Kimberly Langwell was a Texas mother who was last seen on July 9, 1999, after finishing her shift at a local chemical plant. Her car was later found abandoned at the Phelan Shopping Center in Beaumont, Texas, with her phone inside but her purse and keys missing. Langwell had told her daughter she would be home after stopping by her ex-boyfriend Terry Rose's house to pick up some belongings.

Langwell's remains were discovered under a driveway on Rose's property; this was already the area of interest. Following this discovery, Rose was arrested and charged with murder.

This all comes after Beaumont police say they received a tip from a "reliable informant" back in April. The informant allegedly told police that Langwell was killed in Rose’s residence and Rose “buried her on the property,” according to an affidavit.

The update is tragic, but ultimately, the family of Langwell finally have some answers and will be able to move forward.

In an interview with 12NewsNow, Langwell's daughter Tiffani McInnis, who was 15 when she reported her mother missing said:

It's a long time coming and I'm so very grateful to have my mother back. Not in the way I wanted her, but to know that she's no longer being held is a great feeling.
