Survey Says Texas Has Some Of The Best Places To Have A Good Time

A list of the most fun cities in the United States of America was just released and Texas made the top 10. Twice.

Things are not only bigger in Texas, they're a lot more fun. WalletHub just listed the most fun cities in the USA and the lone star state not only cracked the top 10 twice, we made the top 50 four times and the top 100, nine times.

El Paso made the top 100, sitting almost right in the middle. WalletHub ranked 182 different US cities using 3 different categories; entertainment/recreation, nightlife/parties and cost of entertainment.

The big winners for Texas were Austin, (they took the # 6 spot) and Houston came in at #9.  Here's the top 10:

How Did Texas Do Overall?

The top 50 most fun cities in the USA list also included San Antonio at #25 and Dallas made it at #31. That's not all, 5 more of the top 100 most fun cities were also, (clap your hands 4 times), deep in the heart of Texas.

Those were home sweet home, El Chuco, at #53, Fort Worth, (#55), Plano, (#78), Arlington, (#79) ... they would probably have scored a little higher if the Dallas Cowboys were scoring (much) higher these days ... and Corpus Christi. (#99)

How Did New Mexico And Arizona Do?

New Mexico had 1 city in the top 100, (Albuquerque, #74), and Arizona placed 4 times: Phoenix was #27, Tucson was #30, Scottsdale was #42 and Tempe was #58.
