Part three of the Dream Theater documentary traking the selection of their new drummer came out at 9 this morning. As a lot of people were already guessing, Mike Mangini was selected to fill Mike Portnoy's drums shoes. There were a lot of clues, such as the other front runner stating a few months ago that he wasn't the new drummer, Mike Mangini cancelling his teaching gig at Berkley College of Mus

Well, as most of you are aware, Mike Portnoy quit the band he helped found 25 years ago, Dream Theater. He wanted to have the band go on "hiatus" for an indeterminate length of time and then have a "reunion" after the long break. The rest of the band wasn't down with that, for some reason.
