Tacos Of Texas Tasting And Book Release Party Saturday

If you love tacos, don't make any plans for Saturday!

"The Tacos of Texas" was recently released and to celebrate that, the authors are holding several book release parties across Texas. The tour hits El Paso Saturday, from Noon 'til 4, at Memorial Park. Admission is free and taco samples are included!

El Paso chef Raul Gonzalez III, who's featured in the book, told the El Paso Times:

"The culinary culture, not just the taco culture, in the city has really come to life." "There are a lot of young guys out there who have a lot of great ideas who are starting to get out of their comfort zone and experimenting with different flavors and are coming up with food that is really unique."

Raul owns Unruli's Pizza And Pints on N. Mesa. Copies of the book, which also features KLAQ DJ "Super Mario", will be sold at Saturday's event.
