What Mexican Food Does El Paso Really, Totally Hate?

El Paso is the Mexican Food capitol of the world and El Pasoans have tons and tons of places to get their Mexican grub on.

You don't have to go too far in El Paso to find Mexican food and even the "C" and "D" level places are usually better than what you'll find elsewhere. Trying to pick a favorite is like picking your favorite kid ...

If you're looking for something new, check out these places around town that have very cool things or stories about them in addition to the tasty-ness.

Almost as hard as picking a favorite restaurant is picking a favorite dish ... they're all so good. I would hazard a guess tacos are probably the most, most loved item in El Paso. Enchiladas probably come in second. If not second then I'd guess 3rd after tamales.

That's just a guess on my part. What I wonder is, what is the least favorite Mexican dish. In order to answer that question, I went to the most trusted, reliable and just dead on accurate source I know of ... Facebook.

The question was, I assume, seen by all 5,000 "friends" and while they didn't all reply, the answer still seems pretty clear. Higado encebollado, (liver and onions), appeared a few times ... I guess we could give that 2nd place ... and menudo drew more frowns than I would have guessed. Not That I disagree.

The hands down winner though, (or loser I guess), kinda surprised me. With roughly 90% of the vote, and some of the more colorful comments, Mole drew the most haters. (Count me in on this one too.)
