Spin City Roller Rink is Now Open in El Paso
If you grew up in El Paso, you probably remember what it felt like to roller skate under colorful lights, glide past your friends, and maybe take a tumble or two before laughing it off. Well, get ready to unlock core memories from the ‘90s because that feeling is officially back! Spin City, El Paso’s newest roller rink, has opened its doors and is already buzzing with excitement.
Spin City Brings the Roller Rink Back to El Paso
For years, El Paso has been without a full-on roller rink, and locals have definitely felt the absence. There’s something about lacing up a pair of skates, hearing the music kick in, and feeling the smooth floor beneath you that just never gets old.
Now, Spin City is reviving that joy, and it’s quickly becoming the new go-to hangout for families, teens, and anyone ready to roll into some weekend fun. They recently held their grand opening and so far, everyone is loving it!
Located at 11925 Golden Gate Road (across from the Zaraplex), Spin City combines the best of both worlds: the nostalgic vibe of old-school skating nights with all the modern upgrades you’d expect in 2025.
A Throwback to El Paso Memories
For longtime El Pasoans, the return of a skating rink brings back some serious nostalgia. Many still remember spending weekends at Roller King, the beloved Eastside spot that closed back in 2008 after more than 25 years in business.

Spin City doesn’t just fill that empty spot in the city’s heart, it gives it a fresh spin. With its retro music, neon glow, and community-centered feel, it’s a modern reminder of those simpler nights that so many El Paso families grew up with.
