2020 has been a difficult year for pretty much everyone. That is what makes stories like this so good.

Mara Huerta is a single mother of 2 in El Paso and she frequently sees the same 80-year-old gentleman, "Mr. Javier", at the Food King on Yarbrough. He is always right there to help you out with no hesitation. She has now started a GoFundMe to help him out. On the GoFundMe page, she wrote:

Every time I come this hardworking elderly man never lets me get a cart without completely sanitizing it for me from top to bottom. Last time he was across the parking lot when he saw us and he started walking fast to us as much as he could while asking us to wait for him so he can clean the cart before we touched it. I see him doing this for everyone in the parking lot and he’s up and down the parking lot in the hot sun hustling and making sure all the carts are clean and ready for customers.
I’ve tipped him twice and both times he’s just confused and doesn’t even know how to accept.

Back on Monday evening, Mara's post already had 3,000 likes, and over 2,000 shares. The majority of the feedback was positive, but of course, there's always negativity in the world and on the Internet. Some people weren't pleased with putting this employees whole life out there, invading his privacy.

If you would like, you can find the GoFundMe page by CLICKING HERE. Although, as I'm writing this, they have actually reached their goal. They were looking for $5000, and are currently at $5,005. So maybe you don't go to this GoFundMe because they've already reached their goal. You could take a note from this story though and go help someone else out. There's always someone in need out there, and if you have anything to give, please give.
