Seether Go Gaga Over Bush’s Gavin Rossdale and Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger
It’s no secret that the trio of Seether like to have fun, and Loudwire got to have fun with them at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards when we asked them all about their massive tour with Nickelback, Bush and My Darkest Days. The guys of Seether had some very interesting things to say about the frontmen of the bands who are currently touring with them.
Describe how the tour with Nickelback and Bush is going so far?
Shaun Morgan: The first night went good. Nickelback’s got a great production, they’re great guys, looking forward to finishing the tour with them — it’ll be our second tour with them, so it’s a good time.
Now, is Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale really as dreamy as people say he is?
John Humphrey: I would do him.
SM: Oh yeah.
Dale Stewart: I wouldn’t know. We shared a restroom with him, hoping we were going to end up urinating next to each other or something but that didn’t happen, not yet. Haven’t met him, look forward to it, to our bathroom moment.
SM: I’m going to go out of my way to sit in front of his dressing room like a fan girl and scream “Oh my God!” — that’s my plan, so we’ll see what happens.
What’s going to be your pickup line?
SM: Oh, see that’s a secret. It never fails. [Laughs] I don’t know I’ll probably be like a giggling girl. I’m a big fan of him so at least we’ll hang out once or twice on the tour, you never know — some bands like to keep to themselves. We on the other hand like to get drunk and crash dressing rooms, so we’ll see how well that goes down.
What about Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger?
SM: He’s hot, I actually have done him. No, he’s one of the nicest guys in the rock business; you know I’d say, that we’ve ever met. They treat us really well, really good friends of ours and we’ve known him for years now, so it’s our second tour with them. They look after us and we have a good time.
