Scheduled Construction And Road Closures For El Paso This Week
February is here but there are less loving feelings and more frustration for all the construction in EP. Find out what closures are coming. Doesn’t matter when you’re traveling through the west side of El Paso, it looks like congestion is going to be an issue. Even the east side isn’t immune to traffic and headaches. With road closures, lane closures and more, El Paso traffic is getting worse before it gets any better. There will be some major freeway and road closures happening this week so make sure you are aware so you don’t get caught stuck in traffic.
I-10 at North Mesa
Sunday, Feb 3 to Saturday, Feb 9 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m. NIGHTLY)
- I-10 EB COMPLETELY CLOSED between North Mesa and Sunland Park overpass
- Resler Flyover entrance I-10 Eastbound CLOSED
- I-10 Eastbound North Mesa entrance CLOSED
- I-10 Westbound North Mesa Exit CLOSED

Monday, Feb 4 to Wednesday, Feb 6 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m. NIGHTLY)
- Spur 1966 to San Francisco Street CLOSED
Loop 375 South Frontage Road Project
Monday, Feb 4 to Wednesday, Feb 6 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m. NIGHTLY)
- Loop 375 southbound COMPLETELY CLOSED between Alameda Avenue to Zaragoza Road
- Zaragoza exit ramp CLOSED– Exit at Alameda Avenue and use the frontage road
Thursday, Feb. 7 through Saturday, Feb. 9 (complete closure, daily)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- South Americas Avenue (frontage road) complete closure between Socorro Road to Pan American Drive
- South Americas turnaround closed at Socorro Road
- Crews will be installing temporary traffic barrier and striping
- Closures are necessary for construction of new Pan American exit ramp
