Friday, two tribute bands rolled into one and a handful of Local Locos rock the west side.

The Mesa Music Hall will be the loudest place in town Friday night as Sabbath Judas Sabbath, a tribute to Judas Priest and Black Sabbath fronted by Helstar singer, James Rivera, rolls through El Paso. Rivera once fronted individual tribute bands, Children Of The Grave (Sabbath) and Metal Gods (Priest) but eventually morphed them into one.

Demand for the act(s), as well as Helstar, caused Rivera to form various "chapters" of SJS to allow him to perform around the United  States and the world. Other members of SJS include, or have included, members of bands like Flotsam and Jetsam, Helstar, Krucible, Mindcrime and, former El Paso based band, Wardog.

The show is Friday night, ages 21 and up only. Local bands In Wakes, Synyster and The Nobodys also perform, beginning at 6:30.
