Russo Bros. Reveal Which MCU Movies to Watch Before ‘Endgame’
We are less than two weeks away before we all enter the Endgame. And while right now, everyone's main priority is "Game of Thrones" that all will (probably) fade on April 26 when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters. While, it is the talk of the town right now, not many have seen all the MCU movies. If you're planning on going to Endgame without ever having seen an MCU movie, you're a brave soul, but also, don't fear because the Russo brothers have your back.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Joe and Anthony Russo revealed which movies you should watch before Endgame should the case be that you've NEVER SEEN an MCU movie:
“Civil War and Infinity War without question because the events of Civil Wardirectly affected Infinity War, and we would argue that the reason they lost to Thanos is because of Civil War. Clearly, that carries over to Endgame. If you’re going to add one more in there, I’d probably say Winter Soldier, only in that those are the four movies we directed, and they’re all thematically connected to one another.”
Seeing these three movies before Endgame should keep you up to date! Of course, if you've seen all 21 movies (not counting Endgame) and you're down for a binge session, AMC movie theaters is showing ALL 22 MCU films, starting with 2008's Iron Man and ending in the three+ hour showdown with Thanos in Endgame starting on April 23.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
