Why a "royal" graduation party? Because it will be attended by Queen and Prince … sorta.

The concert/party takes place May 10th in the Plaza De Las Cruces.  Gates open at 5:30, tickets are $15 in advance, ($20 at the gate), and kids 12 and under are free. There will be plenty of food and drink available along with two tribute bands:

Purple Madness, a tribute to Prince, is the ultimate celebration of the most widely beloved entertainer and profoundly influential artist of all-time. Bobby Miller presents an electrifying performance that can be best described as high energy and a “must see” performance. The Prince Purple Madness Tribute Show has all but perfected every nuance in recreating the sights and sounds of the artist Prince.

Queen Nation, a tribute to Queen, was formed in 2004. Queen Nation consists of: Gregory Finsley on vocals and keyboards as Freddie Mercury, Mike McManus on guitar as Brian May, Pete Burke on drums as Roger Taylor, and Parker Combs on bass as John Deacon. The mission of the show is to carry on the musical torch and preserve the image, sound, and stage persona of vintage Queen. - lascrucescvb.org
