Rockhouse Hosting An Emo Night Tribute Band Night In March

If you love that early 2000s emo greats, this is a concert you don't want to miss! Grab your girlfriend's skinny jeans, remember how to get your flock of seagulls hairdo up again and get ready to cry with your homies- it's time for some great Emo Tribute Bands for Emo Night at the Rockhouse.

Emo Nite started in Los Angeles years ago, a time when those who grew up in the emo heyday were finally turning 21 and needed somewhere they could listen to Taking Back Sunday and cry....with some alcohol of course. From there, Emo Nite became a wildly popular Tuesday night tradition in the City of Angels, with soe of the members of your favorite emo bands stopping by to serenade the crowd with some of their classics. This year, Emo Nite will be gracing the stage of Coachella so it's no surprise to see that we've finally come to the time where emo bands have tribute bands for them. I'm sorry to tell you- we're officially old. While Emo Nite is the OG event that we all know and love, other events have begun popping up that follow a similar pattern of tugging at our little emo heartstrings and bringing back the nostalgia factor we all know and love. One of those similar events, BUT NOT AFFILIATED with LA's Emo Nite will be happening right here at our very own Rockhouse.

On Saturday, March 21st the Rockhouse Bar and Grill will be hosting Emo Night, where local bands will turn into some of your early 2000 favorites:

NU-95 as "The Used"
Beneath The Waves as "My Chemical Romance"
The Grave Aesthetic as "Paramore"
The Fallen as "Avenged Sevenfold"
Aurora Under Water as "Bring Me The Horizon" (Acoustic Set)
Noder as "Simple Plan" (Acoustic Set)

The bands will be playing mostly songs from the bands they choose, but could also give us some other emo favorites (if no one does Taking Back Sunday's "Cute Without The 'E' prepare for my own personal concert in the parking lot after the show is over where I'll sing it).

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will go on until 2 a.m. Emo attire is encouraged for this show. The show is $5 for those 21 and up and $7 for those under 21. The Rockhouse Bar and Grill is located at 9828 Montana Avenue Suite D. For more details please visit the Facebook Event Page.
