The band, fronted by WWE wrestler-turned-rocker Chris Jericho, played 3 shows across America in one day and we got the "lunch" show.

Fozzy Across America documents the antics of that day 3 years ago when Fozzy, Loudwire Nights host Toni Gonzalez, and a cast of ... I don't know, 8 or 9 ... spent an entire day playing shows, yep, "across America". They started bright and early in Florida with a "breakfast" show in Fort Myers then soared off for the 'lunch" show here in El Paso.

They landed and hauled ass to Speaking Rock Entertainment Center where they played a show for some lucky KLAQ winners.

Even though they were pretty pressed for time, they hung out a little while with the Q winners before rushing back to their private jet for a trip to Vegas and the "dinner" show.

All the madness, fun, mayhem, and humor was caught on film and now you can see how it all went down in the video above. Fozzy started out as a "for fun" thing with Chris Jericho and members of Stuck Mojo releasing an album of Heavy Metal covers. The story went something like this:

Fozzy started out back in the '80s and went on tour in Japan. There they wound up owing some money and were forced to stay there "playing" off their debt. Other bands touring Japan saw them play and one by one, stole all their ideas, releasing them as their own.

Once back in the States, the metal heyday of the '80s had come and gone as had Fozzy's shot at glory. Fozzy released their album anyway so we could all hear the songs the way they were supposed to be played.

Yeah, it was a joke. Fortunately for all of us though, Fozzy got real and has since given us some killer music.
