Reports of needles found in Halloween candy are prompting investigations in one Pennsylvania town. The Kennett Square Police department is saying that needle like items were found inside five Twix bars that were given to four different children on Halloween.

Another person reported finding a needle in a Snickers bar. Right now, police say no one was injured in the incidents and an investigation is ongoing.

According to the website snopes.com this is not an unusual thing to happen on Halloween. Parents in the small town 40 miles east of Philadelphia, say they are shocked that someone would want to harm children.

Authorities are asking anyone in the community for tips that might lead to the arrest of the perpetrator. Check back for more updates on this story and remember to check your kids candy before they eat any. A couple of dentist also have a buy back program in exchange for toys or money.
