Plaza Film Festival Seeks Local Filmmakers

If you are a local filmmaker, here is your chance to be a part of the 2019 Plaza Classic Film Festival!

The 2019 Plaza Classic Film Festival takes place August 1st - 11th and will feature a special "Local Flavor" category for local filmmakers. The event's website lists these requirements:

Any type of film may be submitted. No works-in-progress will be accepted. Projects must have been completed January 1, 2018 or after, and must be made locally, locally set or have a connection of some kind to the El Paso-Juarez-Las Cruces area (such as a director originally from El Paso).

There is no fee for local entries and they're being accepted now ... to enter yours, click here.  (Deadline is June 16th.) The series is sponsored by the Texas Film Commission and is open to films of all genres and lengths. Music videos and experimental films count too!!
