If that wasn't cool enough, they did it along with the Seattle Symphony. They even threw in a couple of Temple Of The Dog numbers during this years Sonic Evolution series.

The Seattle Symphony did the first half of the show and were then joined by drummer Barrett Martin, (Screaming Trees), bassist Duff McKagan (Guns N Roses), Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) and Pearl Jam members Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron for the Mad Season tribute.

Mad Season was made up of members of Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees.  They recorded their debut album "Above" and then retired as the members schedules with their other bands prevented them from working together anymore.

Mad Season/Alice In Chains vocalist Layne Staley died of a drug overdose in 2002.
