Party City Closure: Where To Turn For Party Supplies In Texas

In a shocking announcement, Party City announced that after many decades of business, they will close ALL their locations, including all the locations found in over 50 different cities all over the state of Texas. With over 800 locations in the whole country, Party City is THE BIGGEST party supply store and now...it's the ending of an era.

So the big question now is, where can Texans go now that Party City is closing?

Well one of the biggest competitors for Party City is Michaels; thankfully you can Michaels stores in even more cities around Texas (around 20 more cities compared to Party City). Oriental Trading was considered another huge competitor to Party City; you can only find them in 3 cities however; Houston, Dallas & El Paso.

Another huge store that Party City competed with was Spirit Halloween (obviously only around Halloween time). Now you can't look to see where the stores are located right now, but we know they pop up ALL over the state of Texas.

Some of the other big stores that Party City had to compete with, according to Similar Stores, are Betsey Johnson, Filene's Basement, Premium Outlets, Family Dollar & Hobby Lobby.

There are no longer any Filene's Basement stores in the state of Texas but you CAN find locations for the other stores mentioned:

• Betesy Johnson stores are found in at least 5 Texas malls,
• There are 20 Premium Outlets malls found in Texas,
• You can find 10 Hobby Lobby stores in Texas,
• Family Dollar still has plenty of stores all over Texas,

It's a shame that Party City will no longer be around; thank you for the decades of memories PC.
