The Psycho Las Vegas festival announced in April that they had secured Megadeth as one of their headliners for 2019, but the band was forced to withdraw following the news of Dave Mustaine's throat cancer. Performing in their place will be The Original Misfits.

The horror punk legends will assume Megadeth's Saturday night spot on Aug. 17 as they join Electric Wizard and Opeth as the headlining trio for the three-night event in Sin City. This appearance marks the fourth show on the books for the reunited Misfits, which will bring the reunion tally to 11 total gigs by mid-September.

Singer Glenn Danzig recently told Full Metal Jackie that he doesn't believe there will be many more Misfits shows, urging fans to "see it while they can." He then offered a preview of his coming projects, mentioning he'll be performing with the Danzig band in Europe and possibly the U.S. next year and that he'll also be making select appearances around the country to promote his long-awaited Danzig Sings Elvis covers collection.

Danzig has a movie, Verotika, that will be coming to video-on-demand services on, you guessed it, Halloween.
