New Mystery Delights At El Paso's Only Haunted Theatre Restaurant

El Paso's only real-life haunted restaurant and theatre is back with a new murder mystery at Monteleone's Haunted Motel Themed Restaurant.

I recently met up with a few friends at Monteleone's for their new Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Show, and not only was it super fun, but dare I say, we had a hauntingly good time.

See, Monteleone's Haunted Theatre and Restaurant carries a history of paranormal activity that dates back to the 1920s. According to the stories shared by the owner, Gary Monteleone, a woman who lived on-site selling radioactive water out of the house, which later caused her death, is but one of the entities that currently haunts the home.

After her death, many supernatural activities began to occur, like whispers and shadows passing across rooms and objects appearing and disappearing that continues to this day.

The home sat abandoned for years due to all the weird ghostly activity until Gary purchased the house and began converting it into the jewel of a theatre and dinner showcase it is today - ghosts included.

The retrofitted two-story home accommodates patrons from open seating for a group of 6 to personal pods perfect for couples who want a more private experience on a date night. But no matter where you sit, every attendee becomes part of the show, helping to solve the 'whodunnit' mystery.

The real-life haunted restaurant and theatre returns this season with a new interactive murder mystery featuring the Bell Hop Players, who constantly remain in character throughout the night.

The original and talented crew are also back, featuring a few new players to thrill patrons with a play within a play in 'Murder On The Oriental Rug.'

Upon arrival, 'motel personnel' will greet patrons with a key to their seating area, followed by a 3-course steak dinner (vegetarian also available), including a decadent dessert, all made in-house.
