New Mexico Sheriff’s Office Had The Purr-fect April Fool’s Joke
San Juan County Sheriff's Office pulled the purr-fect April Fool's Joke. See the hilarious video of their new drug-sniffing partner.
April's Fools Day was off-limits for many in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic but many businesses decided to get into the holiday's spirit this year by pranking people with light-hearted and fun jokes this year. One of those hilariously cute jokes was done by the San Juan County Sheriff's Office and it's become a hit online.
The San Juan County Sheriff's Office operates in Aztec, New Mexico located northeast of Farmington, New Mexico. San Juan County Sheriff's Office is the primary agency for the 2,000 square mile region of unincorporated, non-reservation land that is home to about 127,000 people according to the department's website.
The San Juan County Sheriff's Office posted to their Facebook page about how the department decided they were done with their K-9 unit. I mean, why deal with strong and intelligent German Shepherds when you can instead train mischievous and cunning felines instead?
The department hosted this hilarious video promoting their new Feline Unit. The video even shows their newest recruit, the beautiful Kitty Purry. You can see the adorable video below.
The San Juan County Sheriff's Office also thanked the Aztec Animal Shelter for letting them use Kitty Purry aka Wei Wei for the video. In case you were wondering (trust me, a lot of commenters on the video were asking) Wei Wei isn't up for adoption. Wei Wei is part of the Aztec Animal Shelter's family and lives full-time in the shelter. She is simply just a beautiful and talented cat-tress.
