New Book On Tacos Features El Paso Restaurant and Other El Pasoans

A local chef, and other prominent El Pasoans, are featured in a new book examining "The Tacos Of Texas"!

After sampling tacos all over the state, the book "Tacos Of Texas" is finished. It takes an in depth look at different tacos of all shapes, forms, ingredients and recipes.

Mentioned in the book are a few names you will probably recognize! First, El Paso chef and restaurateur Raul "Ruli" Gonzalez III, owner and operator of Unruli's at 4176 N. Mesa. Everything Ruli makes is amazing but, yeah, his tacos ROCK!

El Paso news personality Estella Casas, who apparently has some taco game herself, is also mentioned in the book along with KLAQ's Super Mario.  A video web series, documenting the authors trip across Texas is also on the way.
