Netflix’s Selena Part 2 Series Is Coming Sooner Than You Think

Me siento muy excited at hearing this news. The first part of the Selena Netflix series premiered at the beginning of December to some mixed reviews from diehard fans and critics, but let's be honest, we all can't wait to watch the second half of the show. The series shows more in-depth information about our beloved Queen of Tejano, Selena Quintanilla from her early childhood to her tragic death.

Fans obsessed over every detail of the show, from her changing hairstyles and the attention to detail when it came to her famous fashionable outfits. Once we binged the first episodes, many were eager to find out when we would get the second part of the series. Traditionally with Netflix, we have to wait at least a year for new episodes to drop but thankfully, fans won't have to wait for that long to see new episodes.

The finale for part 1 of the series ended with Yolanda Saldivar being hired to manage the Selena Quintanilla Fanclub. Saldivar would end up killing Selena years later. The episode ends with Selena's father, Abraham Quintanilla discovering her relationship with Chris Perez, her bandmate. Perez is then kicked off the bus and left on the side of the road.
