If you have kids then you must share the same excitement when school field trips kick-off. Not sure about you but when my son had his first school field trip I was stoked for him. Because I recall the exciting times I had in my youth during school field trips.

We all had our own personal favorite spots we were the most excited to visit then. But those particular places have always had a special place in our hearts. Especially if you have a storytelling session about your past field trips you experienced at their age.

I enjoy revisiting past childhood memories of past favorite school field trips with my son. Plus, after telling him field trip stories from my youth he is always eager to visit those places. I was lucky to experience a public show with my son at the Gene Roddenberry Planetarium a couple of years back.

But we can't forget the other two popular places we enjoyed ditching school for then. Another spot we enjoyed taking a day off from learning to have fun was at Cattleman's Steakhouse at Indian Cliffs Ranch in Fabens. It was pretty fun to be wandering around the Indian Maze with your closest friends.

We also can't forget about Cattleman's famous petting zoo, the lake walk, and a children's playground. So many great memories visiting Cattleman's Steakhouse at Indian Cliffs Ranch as well as the good times at Licon's Dairy Petting Zoo in San Elizario.

Licon's Dairy Petting Zoo also holds a special place in my heart thanks to past field trips. It was at Licon's Dairy Petting Zoo we got to feed all sorts of animals that melted our little hearts. Plus, last year Licon's Dairy Petting Zoo welcomed a kangaroo to permanently stay. But as a grown adult I am curious about the spot you considered your favorite past field trip. So you know what to do, vote for your past favorite school field trip in the poll below.
