I’ve referenced before on-air that Moon Knight is one of my favorite Marvel superheroes.

This is usually followed by a caller or commenter saying, “You know Moon Knight is just a cheap knock-off of Batman, right?” Sure, I guess there are some SUPERFICIAL similarities: Batman and Moon Knight are both billionaires who fight crime using a combination of high-tech gadgets and hand-to-hand combat.

And, yes, they both use disguises and skills as a detective to battle a rouge’s gallery of bad guys. And, I’ll admit they BOTH have secret lairs built underneath the stately manors they live in. But, Moon Knight DOES NOT have a youthful ward who’s also his costumed side-kick. Well, not anymore, anyway.

Well, finally, my favorite superhero Batm…I mean, Moon Knight, is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Moon Knight” is scheduled to air THIS MONTH! The first episode is scheduled for March 30th on Disney + and I am psyched!

But, this new poster for the series is leaving me…with a few questions, let’s say.

OK, first of all, in the comics Moon Knight never wore a jacket made out of what appears to be Brawny Paper Towels.

Moon Knight’s alter-egos never included a Stint as Mr. Wrestling Number 1 OR 2 from 1970s wrestling, either.

And, no matter how much he looks like he is about to perform a colonoscopy, none of Moon Knights alter-egos was a proctologist.

Also, that off-center seam in his mask is really triggering my OCD. Trust me, the suit looks A LOT cooler in the trailer with the glowy eyes and everything.
