Mexico's president is calling the capture of drug kingpin Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman an important moment for his country. President Enrique Pena Nieto says the drug lord's capture shows the Mexican people that they can trust the country's institutions. He praised all the law enforcement and military personnel involved in the capture of 'El Chapo.' One marine was wounded and five of 'El Chapo's' men were killed in the raid Friday morning.

'El Chapo' Guzman made international headlines after he escaped from a Mexican prison six months ago. The head of the notorious Sinaloa Cartel is wanted by the FBI for a long list of criminal charges that include cocaine smuggling and money laundering. It's not known when or if 'El Chapo' will be extradited to the U.S. Mexico's Attorney General's office announced it had approved an order to send Guzman to the U.S. back in July shortly after his great escape from prison.
