Mexican Food Cook-Off Is This Weekend [VIDEO]

This weekend, The Q takes over Cleveland Square with dancing, mexican food, rocking mariachis and more!!

Advance tickets for the Mexican Food Cook - Off are available at area 7-11/Alon locations. $3.00 for either day or go both days for only $5.00!!   (Follow at #EPMexFood!)

On top of some of the best mexican food El Paso area restaurants have to offer, (El Paso already has the best mexican food period, so this is really the best of the best!!) there will be plenty of sodas, water and beer to wash it all down with.  Plus, other things to see and do!

Saturday, catch the ballet folklorico championships and Sunday brings my favorite part of this event ... the battle of the rock n roll mariachis!!

Full on mariachi bands will do their usual sets throughout the day.  During the battle though, they have to make one change.  They have to "mariachi up" rock songs!  Could be classic rock, could be newer rock ... could be hard rock, could be metal.  Anything goes in this competition!!
