This week, we're taking it way back for a show from the infamous, not to mention epic, "Damaged Justice" tour.

Metallica have been doing their Metallica Monday concert series for quite a while now.  This time around, they are taking us all back to 1989 and another show in their home state of California. It was in the city of Irvine to be exact and captures Metalica as they began to truly hit high gear with their music, performances and production. The "damage" scene, in particular, is my favorite part. (Click here and fast forward to about 1:14:32.) It freaked me out the first time I saw it and this stunt would pave the way for more impressive disasters in the years to come.

The last show we reposted here at KLAQ.com also took us back to California ... Metallica's home state ... for a 2020 show in Mountain View. Metalica began posting these concerts for free to help us all pass the time while being held hostage by the COVID 19 quarantine. Even though those restrictions have seen some changes, they're keeping 'em coming to entertain their fans and to generate money for various COVID 19 related causes via their All Within My Hands foundation.

You can help them reach their weekly goal here. Now, grab some cold ones, invite your favorite peeps over and watch Metallica, as many times as you would like, thanks to Darron Powell, Attorney at Law.
