Once again, Metallica brings the party to you. This time, we're going WAY back with them ...

Metallica have been doing their Metallica Monday concert series for a few weeks now and this one takes us back to 1983 and a Chicago stop on the "Kill 'Em All" tour. That "kid" singing and playing that awesome Gibson Flying V is a (barely) 20-year-old James Hetfield!! He had celebrated his big 2-OH just two weeks prior to this show.

All the guys look like kids really and, best of all, (for me anyway), we get to see original bassist Cliff Burton in action. Cliff was with the band from the beginning up until their 3rd album, "Master Of Puppets".  It was while on tour supporting that album, in 1986, that Cliff was killed when their bus slid on some ice and rolled over. Cliff was thrown through a window and then crushed beneath the bus as it rolled.

Metalica has been showing these concerts for free to help us all pass the time while being held hostage by COVID 19. They have also been donating a ton of money to various COVID 19 related causes via their All Within My Hands foundation.

You can help them reach their weekly goal here. Now, grab some cold ones and your favorite peeps and watch Metallica, live ... as many times as you wish ... thanks to Darron Powell, Attorney at Law.
