Metallica And Rob Halford Team Up For 2013 Revolver Golden God Awards [VIDEO]

The results are in for the only award show that matters!

Revolver Magazines 2013 Revolver Golden Gods Awards were handed out last night in Vegas and on top of seeing some great bands get their due, we also got to see some great bands tear it up live!!  (The best of which was a performance that teamed up 2 of my favorite bands!)

First the winners:

Best Guitarist went to John 5

Best Drummer went to Arejay Hale (See him in action yourself at Balloonfest 2013!)

Paul Gray Best Bassist award went to Lemmy Kilmister

Best Vocalist went to Corey Taylor

Best New talent went to Device (Featuring Dave Draiman of Disturbed!)

Most Metal Athlete went to Triple H (I STILL don't get this category...)

Best Live Band went to Slipknot

Comeback Of The Year went to Tenacious D (??)

Song Of The Year went to Black Veil Brides (“In The End”)

Most Dedicated Fans went to HIM.

Album Of The Year goes to Deftones for Koi No Yokan.

During the show there were several performances and they all rocked!  The Dubba G honorable mention(s) go to Stonesour for KILLIN' Sabbaths Children Of The Grave and Five Finger Death Punch (joined by Rob Zombie and award winner John 5!) doing Thunderkiss 65!!

The DUBBA G "Metal Moment" award goes to another team effort!  One of my all time favorites, Metallica, joined by the Metal God himself, Rob F'n Halford.  Doing one of the best Judas Priest songs ever, Rapid Fire.
