Talk about an all-star line up. Current and former members of Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Kiss, Alice in Chains, The Cult and more are coming together for Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars, which is being dubbed a live show unlike anything else you’ve seen. That’s an understatement. The Allstars will tour South and Central America in both April and May of this year.

A press conference was held on March 1 at West Hollywood’s famed Roxy Theatre, with the likes of Gene Simmons, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum in attendance and talking about the upcoming event.

Contrary to previous reports, former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted will not be a part of this project…if that’s the best way to describe it.

Perhaps Bach said it best: “For me to be the singer in Gene Simmons’ first-ever side project is amazing to me! Dreams come true, indeed.”
