Man Robs West Side Gun Store, Runs Down Witness

It happened Tuesday in the Upper Valley and police are still searching for the robber.

Sportsman's Elite, 4520 Doniphan, was the site of a crazy "gun run" yesterday afternoon. A man walked into the store around 4:00pm,  grabbed two guns and ran. The El Paso Times reported that he got into "a gold-colored car with buyer plates" and ran over a witness as he fled. The article added:

Soon after the robbery, drivers reported that the suspect's car was involved in a hit-and-run while heading east on Interstate 10, police said. The other motorists were not injured in the collision. It was not disclosed how many vehicles he hit. - EP Times
