Man Attempts To Smuggle Cocaine In Tamales

Federal Officials caught a man trying to smuggle in some drugs, by using tamales. Yes, tamales.

The drugs were found as the 46-year-old man was chosen for additional screenings at George Bush International Airport in Houston. He was traveling from El Salvador to New York.

The officials found a box filled with 200 tamales, some filled with cocaine. Nine separate bags were discovered inside the tamales, which he did not declare on his traveler's declaration.

Drugs were seized and turned over to the Houston Police Department.
