On the last Thursday of the month, join Last Thursdays El Paso in partnership with Visit El Paso and local artist Tino Ortega to discover the meaning behind some of El Paso's most famous murals created to unite our community.

Over the last couple of years, Ortega has focused on creating 23 murals in honor of the twenty-three lives tragically lost during the August 3 Walmart shootings.

Since the summer of 2020, Ortega has worked with local businesses to create these lifelike and colorful balloon murals around the city.

Back by popular demand, El Pasoans will have another opportunity to tour all ten murals between downtown to central and west El Paso for free.

Listen to Monika middays all week on 93.1 KISS-FM and download our free 93.1 KISS-FM App.

The tour will begin with the original and most memorable mural site (Old Sheepdog Brewery) depicting three Mylar balloons, one as a red heart and the other as silver letters, spelling out: I (Heart) EP.
