Las Cruces Rockers Wormhole Win New Mexico Music Award

The band, sadly, no longer exists but, they just won a pretty cool award! 

Local Locos from Las Cruces, Wormhole, were nominated by the New Mexico Music Awards for best Metal Song and they won it!! Founder /guitarist Travis Manning sent me this info and band update:

It's an organization called The New Mexico Music Awards...this is their 32nd year. We were one of 5 nominees for best metal song (not sure how many entries). We had worked on our album for the last 2 years before we broke up..we released it in March 2018 and broke up shortly after. I decided to go ahead and submit it because it is definitely the best stuff we recorded as a band.

They may have broken up but, they did some great stuff and totally deserve this recognition.  Check out the song, "Mirror", above and listen to ... better yet, BUY ... the entire album here.

Following Wiormhole's dissolution, Travis hit the ground running and now fronts Flat Blak.  More on them, later!!
