Barbara "Mother" Hubbard has been promoting concerts and other live events for decades.

The Las Cruces Sun News wrote that Barbara began booking the Pan Am Center and bringing in live acts in order to help NMSU students earn extra money by working the shows. Since then, a zillion acts and events have come to the area, bringing zillions of dollars in revenue with them.

On top of that, Barbara also established the American Collegiate Talent Showcase (ACTS) scholarship program which:

gives students hands-on experience in the business of entertainment and provides scholarships for students pursuing a career in the performing arts, whether on-stage or behind-the-scenes. - Las Cruces Sun News

Hold on, there's more.  She wants to create a degree program at NMSU that would teach entertainment business and venue management by having its students actually do the work in addition to just "studying" it.

AAAAANNND....... She's trying to arrange the funding for a multi-use amphitheater complex she'd like to build on NMSU property across I-25 from the Pan Am Center.

All this at 90 years of age with no sign of slowing down. Congratulations Barbara! Thank you for decades of entertainment and here's to many more!
