An El Paso area veteran will soon be getting a new home, figuring out which one is yet to be determined...

Unfortunately, there are too many veterans in the Borderland in need of a place to live to cover all of them. Habitat For Humanity El Paso is doing what they can though!

Thanks to an anonymous donation, they now have the money to build a new home for an eligible veteran and sell it to them at cost as a 30 year, no interest loanClick here for more info.

Applicants must show "ability to pay", "housing need", a "willingness to partner" and "previous military service". Those conditions are very generalized, click here for all the details.  To request an application, call (915) 755 - 6633.

Habitat For Humanity doesn't typically require past military service when deciding who they can help. In this case, the donor specified that the recipient must be a veteran.
