Kevin is the most experienced member of the Q staff having earned his PHD (purely hypothetical degree) from the College of Rock and Roll knowledge. He’s been On Air and Programming Rock stations for decades, so his scope of information comes from years of “been there, done it, seen it.” He’s witnessed just about every rock band live, and can often be found escorting fans backstage to meet their idols. Kevin has done numerous interviews with some of the biggest rock stars, and some of his most recent work can be found on the KLAQ YouTube Channel. Kevin has broadcasted from Woodstock ’94, The Olympics, Jameson Global Radio Live from Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day, and even spent a year as the TV play-by-play announcer for the Texas Wrestling Alliance. Though a product of Chicagoland (born in Joliet, Illinois), he first came to Texas arriving in San Antonio in 1993. After a transfer to Miami and a short stint in Houston, Kevin came to El Paso in 2012 and has had no desire to leave. “This area has advanced so far in recent years, especially with our craft beer and foodie culture; it’s become a true ‘hidden gem’ of America.” Don’t be surprised if you stumble across him hiking the Franklin Mountains, out in the desert on horseback, or at the ice or roller Hockey rink.
