Kendra Scott Celebrating Non-Profit Day With Philanthropy Events
The favorite jewelry line of the fashionistas, Kendra Scott is celebrating National Non-profit day by hosting 108 philanthropic events.Kendra Scott has the line of jewelry you've probably seen on the necks, wrists and ears of women all over. A favorite of celebrities and fashionistas alike, Kendra Scott is a Texan who took the fashion world by storm. Opening her first store in Austin, Kendra Scott found success for her fashion and jewelry line by opening more locations predominately in the South and Midwest states. Now a household name, Kendra Scott uses her fame and fortune for a good cause as much as she can. Through the program Kendra Gives Back, the company works with local charities and people to host in-store events with 20% of the proceeds going to the philanthropic cause of their choice. It's a great way to purchase some beautiful items for yourself and others for a great cause. Through Kendra Gives Back, the company has been able to donate more than $30 million dollars to various causes.
While the coronavirus pandemic has caused Kendra Scott brick-and-mortar locations to be temporarily closed, that's not going to stop the company from giving back. Kendra Gives Back has transitioned over to a virtual platform and is still hosting events and giving back to the community. If you would like to host one of these events, you can sign up at their website. While your online event is happening, for 48 hours supporters can purchase items at the Kendra Scott website and use a custom code and 20% of the proceeds will go to the charity of the host's choosing.
National Non-Profit Day is August 17th and Kendra Scott is ready to do even more.
