Footage recently surfaced of Judas Priest's Rob Halford kicking a phone out of a fan's hand in the front row at a concert in Rosemont, Illinois. The fan was filming part of "Judas Rising" and it's been alleged that the light on the phone was on, prompting the punt. In an exclusive statement to Loudwire, the Metal God has commented on the incident.

In the statement, Halford takes no issue with fans capturing footage of the show on their phones, but cautions not to disrupt his performance.

THE FACTS ARE WE LOVE OUR FANS AND YOU CAN FILM US ALL YOU LIKE AND WATCH OUR SHOW ON YOUR PHONE RATHER THAN IN THE FLESH. HOWEVER IF YOU PHYSICALLY INTERFERE WITH THE METAL GOD'S PERFORMANCE YOU NOW KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN

In the video of the incident (seen below), multiple fans up front are also filming Priest, but Halford singles out just one device, getting a running start before kicking it into the air. YouTube commenters alleged that the fan was filming constantly and with the light on the whole or most of the time. The kick occurred during "Judas Rising," the sixth song in the set, lending credence to the notion it could have been going on for a while.

So next time, turn your flash off so "feeling like we're ready to kick tonight" is just a line from "Delivering the Goods" and not the tone of the show. And if you don't, "you better watch out and hold on tight."
