Jalisco Cafe Giving Out Free Books & Raspas this Fourth of July!

I recently had the great pleasure of eating at Jalisco Cafe in Segundo Barrio. My mom had won the "free menudo" contest earlier this year and has made it a weekend tradition to go and enjoy her free menudo. This past weekend I decided to join my mom and I am so happy that I did! The food was amazing! Thank you to everyone at the Jalisco Cafe for the amazing service and food! It really does make you feel like you're at your abuelitas house!

As if this Segundo Barrio restaurant wasn't iconic enough, this Fourth of July they will be hosting their fifth annual "Jalisco Cafe Segundo Barrio Books & Raspas Giveaway"! Jalisco Cafe has partnered up with Books Santo Nino, El Paso's non-profit book society and give away books. There will be books for the entire family, free to take home as well as a complimentary raspa from the "Raspa Patrol."

Located at 1029 E. 7th Ave., this event runs from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., everyone is invited! You can find out more about it here. While you're there you can also register to win free meals for 2 and oil changes from Crawford Buick/GMC! You're also going to want to head inside for some delicious food because I cannot recommend this place enough!
