Talk about a pricey makeover! Pricey, but very much needed!

Thanks to a whopping $960,000 makeover courtesy of the 2012 Quality of Life Bond, The El Paso Public Library Dorris Van Doren Branch was able to open their doors again to the public and eager book lovers were able to check out the makeover in person at the grand opening celebration.

This makeover has been months in the making for the west El Paso library and it includes a fresh coat of paint, new flooring, and exterior cladding.

The infrastructure also got a major upgrade, and the interior areas have expanded, giving book lovers more room to enjoy doing what they love, READ!

A spokesperson from the City of El Paso called this library a "transformative facelift" for the Westside community.
