#3: Golden Valley, Arizona

Here's a look at the not-so-glamours side of Arizona. Golden Valley is a tiny, unincorporated town near Kingman.

In spite of its shiny name, Golden Valley is suffering. According to Wikipedia, this tiny hamlet has a population of around 8,801, but high unemployment, poverty, and very little access to grocery stores and fresh food.

#2: Douglas, Arizona

Douglas is a border town situated in the southern part of Cochise County in Southeastern Arizona. The population of Douglas is a bit larger than the other towns listed here, with 16,534 citizens according to Wikipedia. However, job prospects here are pretty rough with a 12% unemployment rate, according to Roadsnacks.

The town is charming, with many historic buildings, but finding a job there is difficult.

Last stop, Arizona City. With a very small population of 9,868, you would expect to find small-town charm. However, jobs are scarce. The unemployment rate 9.3%, and the crime rate is 45.47 per 1,000 residents, making it difficult to live in this little town.
