These El Paso Theaters Offer Marvel’s Ultimate Movie Experience

Marvel finally gave fans what we've all been waiting for this week: our first real trailer for Avengers: Doomsday!

Like most Marvel fans, I was too busy trying to spot every character, Easter egg and clue hidden throughout the trailer to pay attention to much else. Then the trailer ended and suddenly there was one phrase plastered across the screen that had me asking: WTF is “Infinity Vision?”

As it turns out, Infinity Vision isn't a new Marvel project or some secret plot point for Avengers: Doomsday. It's actually a brand-new premium movie experience that Marvel is rolling out for the film's release- and the good news for El Paso fans is you won't have to leave town to experience it.

What is Marvel’s Infinity Vision?

Think of Infinity Vision as Marvel's seal of approval for premium movie theaters.

Rather than creating a brand-new screen format, Marvel introduced Infinity Vision as a way to identify theaters that already meet its standards for an enhanced movie experience. According to Marvel, these auditoriums feature premium large-format screens, laser projection and immersive sound designed to make blockbuster films like Avengers: Doomsday feel even bigger.

The announcement came alongside the film's latest trailer, leaving plenty of fans wondering exactly what Infinity Vision meant, and whether their local theater would be part of it.

These El Paso Theaters Have Infinity Vision

The good news is Marvel fans in the Borderland have plenty of options.

Marvel's official Infinity Vision theater locator shows that five theaters in El Paso are set to offer the premium viewing experience when Avengers: Doomsday arrives.

I'll admit, I was fully prepared to find out we'd have to drive to Albuquerque, Phoenix or somewhere across Texas to experience Infinity Vision. Instead, El Paso ended up with several participating theaters, giving local Marvel fans plenty of choices for opening weekend!

El Paso Marvel Fans Are Ready for Doomsday

Between finally getting our first full trailer and now learning that El Paso has five Infinity Vision theaters, the hype for Avengers: Doomsday is growing.

Whether you're the kind of Marvel fan who wants the biggest screen possible or you're just looking for an excuse to experience the movie in the best format available, it's nice knowing you won't have to leave El Paso to do it.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch that trailer a few more times, because I'm pretty sure I missed about a dozen Easter eggs the first time around!
