Indie Rockers Modest Mouse Coming Back To Perform In El Paso
Any band that belong in the alternative rock genre have always had a unique sound; some names come & go while others become legendary & house hold names. One of the bands that follow into the latter category is Modest Mouse & they will be coming back to town in 2022.
Since 1992, Modest Mouse has become one of those bands where, even though you might not know the NAMES of the songs, but you most likely HAVE heard them before. They REALLY scored some hits in 2004 off of their Good News For People Who Love Bad News album. That's where the songs Float On & Oceans Breathe Sally come from. They also got the legendary guitarist from The Smiths, Johnny Marr, to perform on two albums with them between 2006-2009.
Modest Mouse kicks off the European leg of their 2022 tour June 30th & will return back to the States in August. If we fast forward to the month of September, we can see the date that all of us are looking forward to: September 2nd at the Lowbrow Palace, 1006 Texas Ave. They will be performing at the outdoor stage at the Lowbrow Place along with the British indie band, The Cribs.
As I mentioned earlier, this won't be the first time that Modest Mouse came to El Paso. They've actually been here 3 previous times:
- in 2004 at Club 101,
- in 2007 at the Abraham Chavez Theater
- & 2014 at the El Paso County Coliseum.
The show IS all ages & if you want to get your tickets (general or VIP) for the September 2nd Lowbrow Palace show, you can right here. If you want to see all the 2022 tour dates, you can see them all on the Modest Mouse website.
