Buzz Adams Urges You to Watch an El Paso Resident Win a House
Somebody in El Paso is going to win a brand new home. The house, located in East El Paso, is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home valued at over $220,000.
I should also mention that the home comes completely furnished.
The ICON Home for Good Giveaway is one of the ways that El Pasoans Carlos and Juanita Garcia give back to their city. The home giveaway on Friday is actually the third time they’ve given away a house. It’s not a random drawing or raffle or anything like that. The contest is very intentional in that the Garcias want to give the home to a deserving family that otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford it. So, each year, the Garcias have a nomination period during which people can submit entries. People either enter themselves or a family they know that meets the criteria.
Also, it is a contest exclusively for El Pasoans. Part of the requirements are that the nominees all have to currently live and work in El Paso.
The entry period for this year’s ICON Home For Good Giveaway has already ended. But, Carlos and Juanita have confirmed that they ARE doing another home giveaway for next year! We’ll let you know when the next nomination period is going to start. So, start thinking about the deserving El Paso family that you know (and it could be yours!) that could really use a new, furnished custom home in 2021.
