Sorry wannabe bounty hunters, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) is NOT offering rewards for turning in illegal aliens in Texas or any other state.

Despite what you read on Facebook, or any other social media, the $750 being offered to turn in illegal aliens is a crock of you know what. ICE is not doing that though they do offer rewards for other information.

They once offered a cool $5 million for info regarding the shooting of 2 ICE agents in 2011 and the same amount in 2021 for a major, Mexican cartel member named Audias Flores Silva.

Other Hoaxes Involving ICE Operations

Several people were arrested recently around the United States of America for impersonating ICE agents. Back to the fake reward, the post appeared on several social media pages including Facebook, X and Instagram.

The agency’s website has a tip form for those who want to provide information regarding “violations of criminal law, ranging from child exploitation to transnational gangs.” It says that monetary payments may be rewarded to those who provide information related to criminal investigations. - reuters

This hoax popped up as ICE agents all across the country have begun cracking down on illegal immigration amidst other measures to secure the border. This isn't the first time something like this has happened though according to USA Today:

Similar false claims have circulated in the past on stickers and flyers in communities, according to news reports from Seattle PI in 2016 and ABC News in 2018.
