The founder, Vanessa Lomeli was born in El Paso & she now lives in Houston & the restaurant is very nice nod TO her hometown called "The 915". Opening March 23rd, Vanessa stated that when she opened The 915, "When I think of food, I think of family and comfort, and that’s what I want The 915 to be for people. I just love the way food brings people together. That’s at the heart of everything I want to accomplish".

Located at 2914 White Oak In Houston, a lot of the dishes at The 915 include  Tex-Mex staples such as enchiladas, flautas, & fajitas. Some specialty dishes include the Flautas a la Chuco that come filled with brisket, potato, or chicken, topped with salsa, crema, and avocado. The fully loaded Mexi-Dog gets topped with bacon, queso, mayo, salsa verde, black beans, grilled onions, and fries. The menu also includes green chile enchiladas, mole enchiladas, red and green flautas ahogadas, fajitas & the Juarez dog, that includes bacon, mustard, mayo, ketchup, salsa, queso, beans, torreado, charred tomato and fries. As of right now The 915 only serves carryout & delivery but they have stated that dine-in eating will arrive later.

It's always nice to see El Paso represented in other places around the country & the world. So thank you Vanessa & everyone at The 915 for showing the love for El Paso in Houston.
