Hind of Mencia: Carlos Moons “Rude” Couple at EP Comic Strip

We spent some good quality time with comedy legend Carlos Mencia last week.  He was in town to perform at the El Paso Comic Strip and he appeared on our show on Thursday and Friday.

I was first alerted that something out of the ordinary had happened over the weekend on Monday. That’s when I received a text from Carlos that began, “So, TMZ is going to do a story…” the missive began.

Some of the people who were there said that one couple was being obnoxiously loud during Mencia’s set.  So, toward the end, he dropped trou and gave the couple a full, unobscured shot of his Moon Over My Hammy.

The Mosho’s own Nico Adjemian was the opening act this week so I asked him about the mooning.

“Which time?” Nico replied. He assured me that he had seen Carlos’ bare behind “multiple times” between Thursday and Sunday.

According to the TMZ article (which you can read here), Carlos claims it was all in good fun. “We took pictures and laughed about it after the show.”

Carlos, who we go back with at least 25 years, told us that he now has a regular gig at Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas. Because of the commitment to that residency, he says there may not be too many of these long, four-night engagements in El Paso.

“I’ll still get a chance to do one-night-only shows now and then”, Mencia told us.
